Grenier des Alpes is an excellent home base for the serious road cyclist and the perfect retreat to stage your climbing camp.

Step out the front door and jump in to one of the famous alpine passes of the region, on to roads that have seen dramatic Tour de France contests and millions of avid cyclists.

The myriad of lesser-known climbs on beautiful and quiet secondary roads offers endless recreational riding and training opportunities.  Keep in mind when planning your trip that all road cycling routes that commence in the village of La Grave require challenging climbs and descents. The riding is spectacular, and it requires a high level of fitness to enjoy. If you plan and gear accordingly, these roads will not disappoint.

Road Bicycle Rental

Grenier des Alpes offers a complete range of Cervelo S3 and R3 bicycles for rent by our guests. We’ve selected these outstanding bikes to accommodate our guests who would prefer to travel without the hassle of dragging a bike box through the airport. Our Cervelos are well-maintained and top of the line, with a mixture of Shimano and SRAM drivetrains. We also have a size run of stems and other small parts to ensure that the bike fits you well and you can enjoy every mile. Be sure to contact us about reserving the appropriate size when you make your reservation.
